Junior to Mid-Level Associate
The Financial Regulation Group in New York is looking for an associate with 2-6 years of law firm, in-house, and/or government experience (preferred agencies include the SEC, CFTC, FINRA, the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency and the Federal Reserve). A strong candidate will have experience providing financial regulatory advice to U.S. and non-U.S. financial institutions with respect to the federal securities and/or banking laws. Broker-dealer, investment adviser and/or bank regulatory experience is a plus. Candidates with an interest in derivatives advisory work are also encouraged to apply. Candidates must be proactive and team-oriented, with an eagerness to learn and excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong academic credentials, JD from an accredited law school, and admission to and in good standing with the New York or District of Columbia Bar required.The role is ideally located in New York, but we are open to considering candidates based in Washington, D.C.
ENERGY FINANCIAL REGULATION Associate - Washington, DC
Mid-Level Associate The Financial Regulation Group in the Washington, D.C. office is looking for an associate interested in financial regulation around class year 2015 – 2017. A strong candidate will have experience providing financial regulatory advice to U.S. and non-U.S. financial institutions. Broker-dealer and/or investment adviser experience is a plus.
